Kingsbury Companies and the Town of Whitingham begin the infrastructure improvements. Kingsbury Companies took delivery last month of two RBC units for the Town of Whitingham. The RBC Units had an exciting “last flight,” being lifted high above the power lines, trees, and existing buildings making this project uniquely challenging. This delivery makes way for the project’s next phase after almost 1 year in production.
The next phases of the project includes the demolition of the existing systems, temporary treatment during construction, and installation of the new equipment in its final location. Due to the challenging confines of the project site, extensive coordination of wastewater flows, and deliveries, construction workers and plant operators will be required to ensure that each step of the project is completed safely, in compliance with state wastewater permits, and to the high quality expected.
